Meditation in Red

Lee Woodman 2014

Installation for Canopy Design in Lucas House, Nelson, NZ

A fantastic project that brought back life/art/community and spirit into Christchurch/New Zealand, with the Central Business District still shattered from the Earthquake. A project that deserves recognition.

You told me, I won’t be hurt. AnnCT 2014
I was young, trusted you, but now I am hurt. My scars are still healing, from inside out, but I will always feel this knife stuck in my bones. My smile is stiff, since I cannot control any of my thoughts. I lie there, staring up into the blank ceiling, listening to the machine drumming its own song. When will it be over, when I am allowed to go?

Work I did for the Santorini Biennale, as an invited artist to apply, theme ‘peace mechanism’
